  2. Show your child how to place the straw into the milk and blow gently to create bubbles.
  3. Encourage them to experiment with blowing more or fewer bubbles, observing the bubbles rise and pop.

Recipe for 3-4 Year Olds: Windmill Shaped Sandwiches

Make lunchtime an adventure with windmill-shaped sandwiches, incorporating the wind theme into a tasty and nutritious meal.

Ingredients

  • Sliced bread
  • Deli meat (such as turkey or ham)
  • Cheese slices
  • Lettuce or spinach leaves
  • Condiments of choice (mayonnaise, mustard, etc.)
  • Sandwich picks or toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Cut out windmill shapes from the bread slices using a windmill-shaped cookie cutter.
  2. Spread condiments on one side of each bread shape.
  3. Layer the deli meat, cheese, and lettuce or spinach on top of the condiments.
  4. Place another windmill-shaped bread on top to create a sandwich.
  5. Secure the sandwich with sandwich picks or toothpicks.
