Qeepsake helps families capture and cherish their moments. We exist to enhance joy and affection with those that matter most. Kids, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, besties — we’re here for all of it. Memories are even more special when you’re sharing the love with family and friends. That’s why we’ve made it easy, secure, and joyful to experience Qeepsake together with your village.

Here’s how it works: when you open up your Qeepsake app, you’ll see a “family” button on the bottom of your screen. Tap it, and you’ll open up your Friends and Family page. Here you can invite unlimited friends and family to follow your family’s journey and manage their permissions. 

All Qeepsake Members (free too!) can invite family and friends to receive recap emails — Qeepsake Digests that land in your family members’ inboxes, allowing them to follow along your family’s journey. 

Premium Members can now add multiple contributors to their account. A contributor is someone who can receive text prompts, fill in milestones, and more.  Capture your family’s journey from every angle with contributors — more stories, experiences, and memories to cherish. 

Recap Emails

There are two private and secure ways you can share and get your family more involved with your Qeepsake experience. The first is through recap emails. Add Nana, and she’ll receive a regular recap email in her inbox that will include up to 10 entries and photos. Constantly forgetting to send Uncle Henry pictures of each milestone as it’s happening? Add him too! Qeepsake automatically sends recaps to your chosen ones — as many as you want to add! So, go right ahead... set it and forget it. 

You can also customize recap permissions in the app. Let’s say that Grandma loves receiving her recap emails of your 3-year-old, and you just found out that you’re expecting. You want to capture your pregnancy journey with Qeepsake, but you’re not ready to tell the fam just yet. It’s all good! Choose to give Grandma access to your toddler’s journal, and keep that expecting journal completely private. 

Contributors

The second way to include family and friends in your Qeepsake experience is to add contributors! Qeepsake Premium Members can add multiple contributors, and it’s a great way to capture your family’s journey from every angle. Contributors will have their own account, receive text questions, and can share photos. Their entries will land right in your little one’s journal (and book!) alongside your entries.

‍Privacy & Security

Security is of utmost importance to us here at Qeepsake. We're parents and tech nerds, so we care deeply about our children's privacy and safety. We use industry-standard encryption and data protection, which means your interaction with Qeepsake through texts, the app, and the website is entirely private and secure. 

We attach your content directly to our recap emails and never share content via public URLs. This keeps your photos and entries completely private and secure to you and your chosen recap recipients and contributors. 

Additionally, we require recap recipients and contributors to confirm their emails before they receive any photos or entries of your little ones. This way, if you accidentally invite the wrong person, they won’t receive instant access to your content.
